As a non pc owning, non ipod using, non facebook contributing technophobe; I am nevertheless interested in any medium that allows us to share & develop ideas. Blogging may enhance the enjoyment of our work, it may lead us to feel connected to others with similar ideas, it may challenge our exisiting opinions. If blogging were available to me in my workplace, I don't know how I would fit this into my day, as it is already full to the brim. I like the interactive nature of blogging and it's informality compared to other written communication. It can have a brainstorming element that occurs when we feed off the ideas of others. By accessing client based blogs, we can see the direction of client expectations. Blogs allows us insight into the widening spectrum of client needs. I think the expanding expectations of clients is a good reason to have a clearly identified core service, that is understood by both clients & staff.
